Home care is short or long term non-medical care provided to individuals of all ages who require assistance with basic living needs. This includes senior citizens, veterans, developmentally disabled children and adults, post-surgery individuals requiring short-term care, new mothers, and individuals with degenerative illnesses (Alzheimer's, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.) Our care providers help with personal care and daily living needs such as:

  • Dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, hygiene needs, diapering/toileting, transferring, medication reminders, transportation, or household care.
  • Engage individuals in age and ability-appropriate fun activities
  • Keep individuals safe in their homes and the community
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Submit reports on any incident
  • Act quickly and responsibly in the event of an emergency

Pacific Homecare considers its employees as the key component to its success in serving its clients and is committed to attracting and retaining qualified personnel. The selection process will be consistently applied and include a completed application, interview, reference checks, certification verification (if applicable), educational requirements, eligibility to provide home care services, competency checks (if applicable), background check, employee eligibility and work authorization status, and such other items as appropriate to the position being filled and/or regulatory mandates.

Pacific Homecare encourages all employees to seek higher-level positions. Generally, employees must have one year of service with the agency before applying for a new position. The agency will offer qualified employee’s promotions to higher-level positions as appropriate and available. The agency prefers to promote from within the organization and may first consider current employees with the necessary qualifications and skills to fill vacancies above entry level, unless outside recruitment is in the agency's best interest. To be considered for promotion, employees must have been in their current position for at least one year, received satisfactory performance reviews, and have had no disciplinary actions during the previous year.

About us:

We are a local agency that provides quality non-medical in-home care to individuals who are elderly or have a developmental disability. Since 2005, we have been empowering our clients to reach their highest level of independence with compassionate caregiving services and support. We are here to serve others, with respect, honesty, and kindness.

 We hire Care Providers who are at least 18 years of age and have the capability and willingness to help others. Babysitting, Nanny experience or caring for a family member with a disability counts as experience!

All our Care Providers must pass a Department of Justice background check and be authorized to work in the United States.
